Nowhere near LoTW etc and sitting in Eco hotel bar (wifi, it is Africa
and they got WiFi!!), waiting for water to drop so sand bar is uncovered
again. This is the list of callsigns I have just worked from AF-060 15m
ssb. Yes I was only QRP... KX3 10W from a 7AH motor bike battery into a
buddipole (tuned) for 15m freq. Didn't need some spares and other stuff
so taking less this afternoon. Left battery on island as still charged.

Ended 11:50
Started Simplex... rapidly had to go split 10:40.... and that didn't
work so went 5-7 up soon after, I just had a wall of noise and was hard
pulling out callsigns, shouting two letters doesn't help! Obviously lots
of demand for this one, might have gone wider but I had not had time to
check all freq were open.
107 qso in 88 mins so c72qso/hr not the fastest ever.
Operation is 100% limited to the sand bars, antennas HAVE to be self
supporting (no guys even!) well away from bird nesting colony and was
accompanied whole time by Tanji Bird Reserve Guide to make sure I complied.
Hope to be qrv again about 15:00-17:30 UTC NA/JA focus. Please if you
are in the list above DONT CALL.
