This took me a couple of hours including making my own PCB from Blue Press nPeel film and ExpressPCB to create the layout.

The lists the rig is sitting on are from my Norcal-20 build.
I use a three stage process when building.
1. I mark the component as placed on a circuit diagram
2. I mark the component as placed on a layout
3. I mark the component as placed on a BOM.
Bit of overkill but means I do not tend to either miss a component or place the wrong one.
You also find a few interesting differences for some projects and kits.
