Other than a trip which might get the odd mention I will detail projects I am working on, what I want to be working on and what I have otherwise to report on. I will update the individual projects as they advance. As asked I have started to catalogue the references I have follow the link on the left where you can obtain them too. Want to email me wander over to qrz.com and you'll find my email address there. Also twitter @m1kta_qrp

Great Job!
I have been following your progress for the last several hours while you have worked and posted the photos.
It was like setting there with you, helping with the solder.
Loved the adventure!

I reworked an other softrock build recently as was blogging it then realised I had messed up the photos so thought better do the Ensemble TRX.
BTW those BS170 are damned sensitive devices as you might have seen from blog. I fritzed one somehow and the PTT stopped working and had me foxed to a while.
Actually in shack operating too as well as building something else so the elapsed time really is taking it easy.
The board is a mess underneath and needs cleaned up, I'll go over every solder joint and clean off the excess flux etc.... I don't leave projects like this.
Interesting that. Have you any idea where I could get one of these ready built? A second hand one would be fine. I doubt that my eyesight is up to the surface mount stuff and am reluctant to try and make one myself. I am thinking that a lot of people might build and abandon these after a bit of use and I might get hold of one in working order.

Tony, unfortunately I don't. I suspect you could try Tony Parks http://www.kb9yig.com/ first (drop him and email). If you manage to get hold of a kit then let me know and I'll build it for you.
Thanks for that kind offer. Very generous indeed, but since yesterday, I got in touch with Tony and he has offered to make me one up and send it over. EXCELLENT!
Thanks again. I'll let you know how I get on with it when it arrives.
